What is Trustie?

No. Trustie is not a bank and doesn't hold your money. We connect to your existing bank through FCA-regulated Open Banking to help you understand and manage your money better.
Anyone aged 18–30 who wants to feel more in control of their money but doesn't know where to start. Whether you're avoiding your bank balance, saving for a flat, or just want someone to explain money in the most neutral way.
Trustie shows you your Safe-to-Spend number: how much you can safely spend today after your bills and commitments are covered. You can also chat with an AI money mentor to get answers to your money questions. We're building more features with our community every week.
Yes, Trustie is completely free during early access. We're focused on building something useful first. We'll be transparent about any future pricing.
Banking apps show the past. Budgeting apps set rules. Trustie gives you clear answers and guide you on what to do next.
Yes. Trustie is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and uses Open Banking: the same secure technology used by every major bank in the UK. Your data is encrypted, and we can never access your banking passwords or move your money.
Open Banking is a UK-regulated system that lets you securely share your bank transaction data with trusted third parties without ever sharing your password. It's overseen by the FCA and used by millions of people in the UK. You control what's shared and can revoke access at any time.
Through Open Banking, Trustie can securely see read-only information from the bank accounts you choose to connect, like your balance and recent transactions. Your bank shares this data directly with us over a secure, FCA-regulated connection: we never see your bank login details, and we can never move your money. You decide which accounts to connect, and you can disconnect at any time.

Yes. Trustie uses Open Banking to offer two things: letting you see your account information in one place, and helping you make payments straight from your bank. Both are regulated services under UK law (the Payment Services Regulations 2017). We provide them through our partner Salt Edge Limited, which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Trustie acts as Salt Edge's FCA-registered agent. One important thing: Trustie never holds your money. It always stays in your own bank account, and payments are made directly from there. Want to check? You'll find us on the FCA's Financial Services Register at register.fca.org.uk.
If you delete your account, we delete your data. We don't sell your data to anyone, ever. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.
Right now, Trustie is available on iOS through early access. Join the waitlist and we'll send you an invite. We're rolling out to new users every week.
Not yet, but Android is on our roadmap. Join the waitlist and we'll let you know as soon as it's ready.
It means you're one of the first people to use Trustie while we're still building it. The app works and it's useful, but it's not finished. You'll get new features regularly, and your feedback directly shapes what we build next. We call our early users “superfans” because they're helping us build something genuinely different.
Open Banking is regulated by the FCA, used by millions, and Trustie can only read your data: never move your money. You can disconnect at any point in time if you don't see the real value of Safe-To-Spend feature.
