Questions? Good.
We've got answers.

We know trusting a new app with your money takes a leap. Here's everything you might want to know before you take it.

What is Trustie?

Trustie is an AI-powered money mentor app for young adults in the UK. It connects to your bank account, shows you what's safe to spend, and gives you personalised money guidance.

Is Trustie a bank?

No. Trustie is not a bank and doesn't hold your money. We're an FCA-regulated e-money institution that connects to your existing bank to help you understand and manage your money better.

Who is Trustie for?

Anyone aged 18–30 who wants to feel more in control of their money but doesn't know where to start. Whether you're avoiding your bank balance, saving for a flat, or just want someone to explain money in the most neutral way — Trustie is for you.

What can Trustie do for me right now?

Trustie shows you your Safe-to-Spend number – how much you can safely spend today after your bills and commitments are covered. You can also chat with an AI money mentor to get answers to your money questions. We're building more features with our community every week.

Is it free?

Yes, completely free during early access. We're focused on building something useful first. We'll be transparent about any future pricing.

What makes Trustie different?

Banking apps show the past. Budgeting apps set rules. Trustie gives you clear answers – and what to do next.

Is my bank data safe?

Yes. Trustie is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and uses Open Banking — the same secure technology used by every major bank in the UK. Your data is encrypted, and we can never access your banking passwords or move your money.

What is Open Banking?

Open Banking is a UK-regulated system that lets you securely share your bank transaction data with trusted third parties — without ever sharing your password. It's overseen by the FCA and used by millions of people in the UK. You control what's shared and can revoke access at any time.

What can Trustie see from my bank account?

Trustie is an AI-powered money mentor app for young adults in the UK. It connects to your bank account, shows you what's safe to spend, and gives you personalised money guidance through AI mentors.

Is Trustie regulated?

Yes. Trustie Ltd holds an FCA e-money licence — a rigorous approval that only about 1 in 10 applicants achieve. We've also been invited into the FCA Sandbox for Regulatory Innovation, which means the regulator has actively validated our approach.

What happens to my data if I delete my account?

If you delete your account, we delete your data. We don't sell your data to anyone, ever. See our Privacy & Data page for the full picture.

How do I get Trustie?

Right now, Trustie is available on iOS through early access. We're rolling out to new users every week — get in touch if you'd like an invite.

Is it on Android?

Not yet, but Android is on our roadmap. Follow our updates and we'll let you know as soon as it's ready.

What does “early access” mean?

It means you're one of the first people to use Trustie while we're still building it. The app works and it's useful, but it's not finished. You'll get new features regularly, and your feedback directly shapes what we build next. We call our early users “superfans” because they're helping us build something genuinely different.

I am anxious about connecting my real bank.

Open Banking is regulated by the FCA, used by millions, and Trustie can only read your data – never move your money. You can disconnect at any point in time if you don't see the real value of Safe-To-Spend feature.
